Delete your Setstack account

How to delete your Setstack account and all associated cloud data, in the app or by email.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open Setstack on your Android device.
  2. Go to Settings → Account.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm. Your Firebase account and all of your cloud data are deleted.

This works for guest accounts and for accounts signed in with Google.

Request deletion by email (without the app)

If you no longer have the app or your device, send an email to hello@abd-dev.at with the subject "Setstack account deletion". Include one of the following so we can find your account:

  • the email address of the Google account you signed in with, or
  • the user ID shown in the app under Settings → Account.

Email a deletion request

Please send the request from the email address of the account if possible. If we cannot verify that the account is yours, we may ask a follow-up question before deleting it.

Delete only your cloud data (keep your account)

If you use cloud sync with Setstack Pro, you can delete your cloud backup without deleting your account:

  1. Open Setstack and go to Settings → Cloud sync.
  2. Tap Delete cloud data and confirm.
  3. All workout data stored in Cloud Firestore for your account is deleted. Workouts on your device stay, and sync is turned off.

You can also request this by email to hello@abd-dev.at with the subject "Setstack cloud data deletion" and your account email or user ID. It is completed within 30 days.

What is deleted and what is kept

Deleted

  • Your Firebase account (user ID and, for Google sign-in, email address, display name and profile photo URL)
  • All your data stored in Cloud Firestore (cloud backup and sync data)

Kept

  • Our email correspondence about your request, only as long as needed to handle it and where the law requires us to keep it longer (see Contacting us in the privacy policy).
  • Google Play keeps its own records of purchases under Google's own policies.

Timeline

Deletion in the app starts immediately. Deletion requested by email is completed within 30 days, and we confirm it by email.

Good to know

  • Subscriptions are not cancelled automatically. Cancel Setstack Pro in the Google Play Store under Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  • Data on your phone is not part of your account. Remove it by clearing the app's storage in Android settings or by uninstalling Setstack.
  • Want to keep your history? Export it first under Settings → Export CSV.
